Preserving the past

Tickets for the April 30 chicken bbq are available at Exchange Bank in Cotati, Cotati Chamber of Commerce, and from board members and volunteers. Tickets will be available at the museum on Saturdays, 1-4 p.m. when it reopens. $20 in advance, $25 at the door. A check for $20 per ticket can be sent to CHS, PO Box 7013, Cotati CA 94931 and tickets will be held at "will call" for you at the event.

Due to the window replacement project, the Cotati Museum is currently closed. We plan to reopen Saturday, April 1st. (No Foolin'!)

History of Cotati

Our city's unusual name Cotati (pronounced ko-ta-tee) derives from the Kotati, a peaceful tribe-let of Coast Miwok Indians who populated this valley for generations.
