Volunteer Opportunities
Cotati Historical Society has more than 200 members, many of whom actively participate in artifact archiving, preservation, and maintenance. They also serve as officers and directors, write and edit the newsletter, photograph events, promote the Society, help with fund raisers, lead downtown walking tours, and serve as docents in the Cotati Historical Museum.
We are looking for people of all ages to volunteer.
Volunteer docents greet our guests and assist them in getting the most out of their visit by sharing information on the collections. Other volunteers maintain the artifacts, exhibits, and archive collection of photos, newspapers, books, and handbills that have been given to CHS for future generations to enjoy.
If your skills are in advertising, publicity, or promotion, you could help promote CHS. We are looking for volunteers to help raise funds, to recruit new members, and to talk with potential sponsors and donors for our various activities.
